Dr. Lopez has been dedicated to private practice eye care in Chicago since 1988. He has uncompromisingly delivered the very best in care and service to his patients, whether they require medical treatment, corrective eye surgery or simply eyeglasses and contact lenses.

As Director of Optometric Services at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Dr. Lopez also provides highly experienced consultations for all of the latest refractive surgical procedures available.

Dr. Lopez also specializes in complex contact lens fittings for patients with compromised corneas due to disease or prior surgeries. He has developed a proprietary lens design , the Lopez Post -INTAC Design (L.P.I.D.), for patients with Keratoconus. This unique design allows these patient to achieve excellent visual acuity despite having very distorted and irregular corneas.

Nazneen is a board certified optician with over 10 years of experience. After graduating from Indiana University in 2004 she soon after moved to Chicago. Nazneen is a natural leader with extensive experience in the field of optics and frame selection. She enjoys helping patient choose the perfect glasses for their lifestyle while also customizing their lens selection. Nazneens' ability to work as a seasoned optician helps her choose the perfect fit for each of her patients. She is also fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.

Daisy, an ABO certified optician, has over 5 years of experience in commercial and private practice combined with her education in optometry. She is set to graduate from Illinois College of Optometry in May of 2014. Following in Dr. Lopez’s footsteps, Daisy hopes to specialize in complex contact lenses and ocular disease. She brings a wealth of experience and dedication to Occhiali.

Daisy is also fluent in Spanish

Jamie graduated from the University of Illinois in 2010 after majoring in Molecular Cellular Biology. With her extensive science background she quickly took interest in optics and her ability to help patients. Being relatively new to the optical field when she started Jamie is now a vital member of our team. Jamie works diligently to make sure your Occhiali experience is pleasant, memorable and seamless.
